"The Formation of the Winona County Bar Association" (1873).

The Winona County Bar Association was formed in a meeting held in the office of former Chief Justice Thomas Wilson on Monday, February 24, 1873. In subsequent meetings that year officers were elected and bills in the legislature endorsed. Each meeting was reported in the Winona Daily Republican newspaper.

This article concludes with an account of the formation of the Bar Association by District Court Judge Arthur Snow for a history of the county published in 1913.
