Burr following his graduation from the St. Paul College of Law in 1911. After Burr relocated to Washington, D.C., in 1923, Glenn continued on his own, soon forming his own firm, Glenn, Frankel & Christopherson. In April 1933, he was appointed Referee in Bankruptcy, a post he held until his death by drowning on October 17, 1944, at age sixty-five. At the annual memorial services of the Ramsey County Bar Association the following year, it was said of him:
