Viewing John J. Segall (1896-1957).
After service in the Navy in World War One, John Jacob Segall completed his legal education at the Minnesota College of Law. He was admitted to the bar on April 1, 1921, opened his own office and practiced law in Minneapolis for the next thirty-six years. He died on December 2, 1957, aged sixty-one. In memorial services for the Hennepin County Bar Association the next year, a colleague recalled:
