"Arthur Cohen: A Memoir by his Daughter for his Descendants" (1919).

Arthur Cohen (1829-1914) was an English barrister and politician. He was called to the bar in 1857 and to the House of Commons in 1880. In its January 1915 issue, the Law Quarterly Review noted his passing:

"The death of Arthur Cohen has robbed the Bar of one of its glories. He came as near as a man could to the ideal of an English lawyer. This assertion may no doubt appear to the ordinary public to savour of exaggeration. But it is in reality the simplest statement of an indubitable fact."

In 1919 his daughter wrote, compiled and published a memoir of her father. It consists of her recollections and excerpts from many letters by and to him. It is posted here.
