Maunsell (1889-1953).Warren Edward Maunsell was appointed court reporter for the Nineteenth Judicial District in 1916, took a leave of absence to serve in World War I, resumed court reporting, continued even while attending the St. Paul College of Law from which he graduated in 1929, elected Municipal Court Judge in 1936, and died on December 18, 1953, at age sixty-four. In all he was a court reporter for 37 years, a lawyer for 24 years, and a judge for 17. In May 1954 the Washington County Bar Association delivered a memorial to him in his old workplace--Washington County District Court. |
