Viewing Harrison E. Fryberger (1867-1952).

Harrison E. Fryberger (1867-1952).

Harrison Earl Fryberger specialized in representing minority shareholders in suits against the majority for fraud, misrepresentation and breach of their fiduciary duties. Late in his career he represented employees in litigation over wages against the Federal Cartridge Corporation. He was also a pamphleteer, who advocated economic reforms and opposed FDR's bid for a third term in 1940. He died on October 19, 1952, at age 85. In memorial services for the Hennepin County Bar Association the next year, Allen T. Rorem recalled him:

"He was an unusual character, well known for his intense interest in litigation carried on by him in behalf of his clients far beyond the questions involved in the particular case then under consideration."

Federal court rulings in two of Fryberger's minority stockholder suits are posted in the Appendix.
