Viewing William Francis Rogers (1861-1943).

William Francis Rogers (1861-1943).

William Francis Roger was admitted to practice in Minnesota in 1890. In 1898, he enlisted in the Army and served in Cuba during the Spanish American War. After his discharge in 1899, he resumed practicing law in Minneapolis. He died on October 13, 1943, ten days shy of his eighty-second year. In a memorial service on February 22, 1945, for the Hennepin County Bar Association, T. M. Thomson recalled that "his many friends among members of the bar and his comrades of the Spanish War period always liked him and admired him as a good lawyer, a good citizen and a good Christian."
