"The Courts and Bar of Hennepin County." (1891).

In 1891, the Minneapolis Journal published "Illustrated Minneapolis: A Souvenir of the Minneapolis Journal," an oversized, hardbound book. It has chapters on various industries and professions of the city. The chapter on "The Courts and Bar of Hennepin County" is comprised of sketches of thirty-eight lawyers, most of whom are firmly established in the profession and city society. Those profiled are the late Eugene M. Wilson, James W. Lawrence, Howell W. Young, John M. Shaw, Willard R. Cray, Edward M. Johnson, Robert D. Russell, Louis A. Reed, Francis B. Hart, P.
