Harcourt Horn (1845-1933).Henry Harcourt Horn, an Englishman by birth, was a captain in a famous British infantry regiment, a settler of a colony in Northern Iowa, a member of the Minnesota bar and the first court reporter for the federal district court in Minnesota. He served the court almost 35 years. He retired around 1919, moved to Hartford, Connecticut, and wrote two books. He died on April 10, 1933, aged eighty-eight. The St. Paul Pioneer Press published his obituary the next day. |
