Grass (1856-1906).Henry Clinton Grass was admitted to the bar in 1878, set up shop in Currie, a village in Murray County, and practiced there until 1891, when he and his family moved to Slayton, the county seat. There he re-established his practice, served ten years as county attorney, two terms as state representative, in the 31st and 32nd Legislatures, and several years as mayor. He died at age fifty on December 30, 1906. |
