Viewing Frank E. Norton (1879-1937).

Frank E. Norton (1879-1937).

Frank Egbert Norton, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, was admitted to the bar on June 12, 1908. He then formed a partnership with his brother, Willis I. Norton, and they practiced together until May 5, 1937, when he died at age fifty-eight. In memorial proceedings for the Hennepin County Bar Association in 1938, his son Austin recalled his father:

"Frank E. Norton, the man, was humble, self-effacing and generous; the fighter, was a vehement champion of truth, justice and equity; the scholar, was a learned student of the law; the humanitarian, was a generous counselor of those in need; the father and friend, was loving and faithful parent, a generous and understanding adviser; the Christian, was a devoted servant of God."
