Viewing John J. Martyn (1858-1935).

John J. Martyn (1858-1935).

John J. Martyn died on August 18, 1935 in Minneapolis of a heart attack. He was around seventy-eight years old. He was not married. He lived and died alone. It seems he left no surviving family. His colleagues in the bar, clients and acquaintances died decades ago. But he was the subject of a memorial delivered on February 8, 1936 for the county bar association, and through it memory of him is preserved.
