Viewing Henry Parker Goodenow (1857-1898).Henry Parker Goodenow (1857-1898).For many years Henry Parker Goodenow practiced law in St. Paul with his uncle, Henry L. Williams. Benjamin I. Stanton joined them in 1889. After Williams retired, he and Stanton continued a while, but eventually separated. He was a sole practitioner when he died on December 9, 1898, at age forty-one. His obituary in the St. Paul Daily Globe, headlined "Made Law His Ideal," described his attractive personality:
