In Memoriam: Justice F. R. E. Cornell (1821-1881).

Francis Russell Edward Cornell served three terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives, three terms as Attorney General and over six years as Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Following his death on May 23, 1881, at age 59, memorial proceedings were held by the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association and the Minnesota Supreme Court.
